
Alison Rayner
ViolinAdelaide-born violinist Alison Rayner is a graduate of the Elder Conservatorium of Music.
She has attended workshops and master classes at Australian National Academy of Music, studied at Banff Centre for Arts in Canada, and worked with St Lawrence String Quartet at Stanford University. Alison has been a member of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Oslo Philharmonic, served as Associate Principal Second violin with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, and performed with the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra.
Since returning to Australia in 2020, she has played with Adelaide Baroque, Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra, Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, and Melbourne Chamber Orchestra. Recently, she performed with Australian String Quartet, Flinders Quartet, and joined the violin section of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.
