
Brock Roberts
LYRIC TENORBrock Roberts is a lyric tenor and director working in opera and musical theatre. He has performed and directed in the USA, Germany, the UK, Malta and Australia. As a soloist he has sung Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni), First Servant (Don Quichotte), Gherardo (Gianni Schicchi), Johnny Inkslinger (Paul Bunyan), Sam Kaplan (Street Scene), Ko-ko (The Mikado), Gastone (La Traviata) as well as singing chorus for numerous operas. Brock has directed Carmen, Venus and Adonis, Actéon, Orpheus in the Underworld, a new work, To Himself, Alone and Into the Woods. He has also been the assistant director on Parsifal, Act III Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, The Phantom of the Opera, Tosca and Ava’s Wedding and associate directed Tosca. Later this year, he will be directing Alice Through the Opera Glass in Melbourne with Victorian Opera as well as assistant directing on the revival of Werther at the Royal Opera House, London.
