Cameron Sibly

TENOR

Cameron Sibly is a lyric tenor based in Melbourne. Cameron recently played the role of Luigi and Rinuncio in Puccini’s Il Trittico. Additional highlights in Cameron’s career have included performing the role of, Young Hargrave in Barry Conyngham’s Fly, Lopez in the Australian premier of Malcom Williamson’s Our Man in Havana, Nemorino in Donizetti’s L’lisir d’amore, Alfredo in Johann Strauss’s Die Fledermaus and his long-standing commitment to the Melbourne Opera Company chorus.

Companies Cameron has worked with include Melbourne Opera, National Opera, Lyric Opera of Melbourne, National Touring Opera, The Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Victoria and Savoy opera. Cameron was the recipient of the Peter and Melissa Hebbard Scholarship with Opera Scholars Australia and was an Opera Scholar of the Year semi-finalist in 2016 and 2017. Outside of opera Cameron is a structural engineer working in the Bridges and Structures team at WSP.
