Stella Hannock

MEZZO

Stella Hannock is an emerging Australian-American mezzo soprano currently based in Sydney. She recently completed a Graduate Diploma in Opera Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music supported by the Helpmann Family Fellowship and Bud Brown Memorial Scholarship, having graduated from a Bachelor of Music Performance in 2019 with a Sydney Scholars Award Scholarship. Stella was an Associate Young Artist with Pacific Opera in 2018 and 2019. She is currently studying in Glenn Winslade’s studio.

Her recently performed operatic roles include Prince Charming in a film of Cendrillon with the Sydney Conservatorium, Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro with Prague Summer Nights Festival at The Estates Theatre, and First Witch in Dido and Aeneas with The Other Theatre. In August, Stella will be relocating to San Francisco to study a Masters of Music in opera at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of mezzo soprano Susanne Mentzer.
