Annie Aitken

Australian music theatre leading lady and Rob Guest Endowment Award winner Annie Aitken has graced stages across Australia and the UK. Best known for starring as Millie Dillmount in Thoroughly Modern Millie (TPC), with breakout performances as Cunégonde in Candide (Sydney Opera House, SPC) for which she won a Broadway World Award (Best Lead Actress – Opera), and originating Nellie Melba in Melba (Hayes Theatre Company) earning a Sydney Theatre Award nomination (Best Lead – Musical).

Annie recently played Madame in Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella European/UK premiere (Hope Mill Theatre) and was chosen by world-renowned composer Frank Wildhorn and Oscar winning writer Alexander Dinelaris to be the new Lucy Harris in Jekyll & Hyde – London premiere development (Lambert Jackson).
