Kyle Stegall

TENOR

Kyle Stegall’s “clear-toned voice” (Klassiek Centraal-Belgium) combined with his reputation as “an outstanding communicator” (Gramophone) put him in demand as a concert soloist and singer-actor. With a “handsome, high tenor voice” (Arts Atlanta) and rare “poetic intelligence” (The Sunday Times-London) he imbues passion and honesty in repertoire spanning the Baroque through to modern premieres.

Mr. Stegall has been mentored by and has collaborated with some of the most celebrated musicians and conductors of our time including Masaaki Suzuki, Caroline Helton, Manfred Honeck, Thomas Wilkins, Joseph Flummerfelt, Christoph Prégardien, Ian Bostridge, and William Christie.

His forthcoming album for Centaur Records presents five premiere recordings of songs sets by living composers. Mr. Stegall holds degrees from the universities of Missouri, Michigan, and Yale, and was twice a fellow at the Aldeburgh Music Festival.
