Oliver Dinnessen
BARITONEOliver Dinnessen comes from a motocross-obsessed family from Tasmania, and spent most of his weekends as a kid watching his brothers race, so he didn’t have the most musical upbringing.
He started performing in 8th grade with his first musical and immediately fell in love with the stage, going on to play roles such as Billy Flynn (Chicago), Old Deuteronomy (Cats), etc. after learning jazz and musical theatre in search of a challenge Oliver decided to pursue classical voice being taught by baritone Samuel Dundas at The University of Tasmania in 2024.
Oliver then left Tasmania in favour of Elder Conservatorium to further his horizons, and by some miracle this plan worked and he is now making his opera debut with SOSA. Through the dedication and diligent work of his current teacher, Teddy Tahu Rhodes, Oliver is proud to present himself in this production as Paris.
