Zachary McCulloch

Zachary McCulloch is originally from Invercargill, New Zealand. Now based in Melbourne, he completed a Bachelor of Music from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music in 2015. In 2020 he relocated to Treviso, Italy to commence study with vocal teacher, Sherman Lowe. Zachary has performed in Australia, New Zealand and Italy with companies such as Co-Opera of Adelaide, Victorian Opera, Opera Australia and Gertrude Opera where he was a 2018 Studio Artist. Roles include: Oronte in Alcina, Nemorino in L’elisir d’Amore and Nanki-Poo in The Mikado.
In 2021 Zachary appeared as Ferrando in IOpera’s Così Fan Tutte, and will perform in the chorus in Opera Australia’s productions of Aida and Ernani and will be one of the inaugural participant in State Opera South Australia’s Opera Academy 2021.
