American Dreams

Journey into the world of American music and Bernstein’s legacy. More than a genius of musical theatre, Leonard Bernstein was a masterful composer, influencing a generation of composers. Alongside Bernstein’s own music, this program explores those who influenced Bernstein, his contemporaries, and a range of new American Voices.

Performed by tenor Kyle Stegall, soprano Desiree Frahn and pianist Josh van Konkelenberg, come with us to explore these great American composers, including music by Samuel Barber, Ned Rorem, Rosephanye Powell and Logan Hahn.

Pre-order a light lunch to enjoy in the beautiful Garden Terrace area before the concert. The terrace is open from 1.00pm for pre-concert dining.
Available for American Dreams is a Hearty Steak Pie with garden salad for $16 per serve. Vegetarian quiche, vegan pie or gluten free pie also available.
