The Pearl Fishers

“Beautiful Moments Of Poetic Imagery”

Festival Theatre

11 Sep - 18 Sep 2010

The Pearl Fishers is based around a love triangle between the three main characters- Zurga, Nadir and Léïla. In the original text it is clear that Léïla is the object of both men’s affections. The exact nature of the relationship between Zurga and Nadir is left unclear, however, though the language used sometimes hints at something more than friendship.
