Hugh Sheridan

ACTOR/SINGER

Hugh Sheridan is a multi-award-winning performer whose career spans television, film, stage, and music. Trained at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), The Australian Ballet, and the Victorian College of the Arts (for opera), he brings a rare versatility to his craft.

He is best known for his role as Ben Rafter in Packed to the Rafters, earning four Silver Logie Awards for Best Actor. His screen credits include Never Tear Us Apart: The Untold Story of INXS, Five Bedrooms, and House Husbands among others credits. His movies include Escape and Evasion, Holiday Twist, Christmas On The Farm, Boar and more, as well as standout appearances on The Masked Singer Australia and The Real Dirty Dancing.

On stage, Hugh starred as Berger in Hair at the Sydney Opera House, where he also toured Solitary Man (music of Neil Diamond) and prior a George Michael Symphony Tour. Hugh has received a Green Room Award for A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and a Sydney Theatre Award for Newley Discovered, performed at the Opera House and a much acclaimed run in NYC Times Square.

A recording artist, his albums Speak Love and Something Big both debuted at #2 on the ARIA charts, with his solo performance of Something Big (the album in 2025) winning Best Music Show at the Adelaide Fringe. His Christmas album The Merriest continued his chart success. In 2026, his globally in demand band The California Crooners Club sold out yet again at Adelaide Fringe, having previously won The Best Overall Show.

Hugh is also a passionate ambassador for many children and animal charities including World Vision, Animals Australia, Australian Wildlife Conservancy, and PETA.
