Just as Akhnaten immersed himself in the white light of the Ten to exclusion of other deities, so we find ourselves immersed in the subtle hues of the key of A minor, with few excursions beyond it. Here, also, moments take ages. This is not a fast flight via modern down the Nile, taking in every reed, animal, bird, and undulating ripple along the way. The effect is both hypnotic and exhilarating.
