HELP US CREATE A BRAND NEW SOUTH AUSTRALIAN PRODUCTION OF AN OPERA CLASSIC
At State Opera South Australia, we are proud to be the premier opera company for all South Australians. We are for South Australian audiences, but we also champion the talent of South Australian creatives, artists, stage managers, directors, costume designers, wig makers, prop masters and set builders!
It takes a village to take an opera from the page to the stage, and in 2023 we were proud to present the world-premiere of a brand new South Australian production of The Marriage of Figaro to sold-out audiences and five-star reviews!
This year, it’s your turn to play your part in our next original production.
We invite you to make a tax-deductible donation to help us create a brand new South Australian production of an opera classic for its world premiere in 2025.
Ways in which you can support us:
$100 for the provision of wigs and make up for a performer for the entire season
$500 for the creation and sourcing of new costumes by our Costume Department
$1,000 for the building of new staging and sets designed by South Australian creatives
$2,000 for a backstage tour of the theatre for secondary school students
$5,000 for a local South Australian in a Principal Artist role
