Exclusive to Adelaide, this concert production stars Ben Mingay as troubled carousel barker Billy Bigelow, whose romance with millworker Julie Jordan comes at a terrible price.
Richard Rodgers’ vivid score is brought to life by a talented all-Australian cast, the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and State Opera Chorus under the baton of Brett Weymark.
Carousel is famous for its epic music and powerful pathos. Anthems like “You’ll Never Walk Alone” and sit alongside musical classics such as “If I Loved You” and “June is Bustin’ Out All Over”.
